Our Council
The Ascension Knights were formed in Oak Park, IL in 2018 with the idea of creating a brotherhood that works together to do good in our community and beyond.
Since then, our council has continued to grow, and our reach and impact continue to expand. Individuals are empowered to propose and lead efforts that they are inspired to undertake, backed by all the resources that our assembled group of service-minded members can provide.
We are a welcoming community of brothers who encourage and support new members who are practicing Catholics from all walks of life. Originally based in Ascension Parish of Oak Park, we are a council without borders. We welcome brothers from anywhere in the area, particularly from our now-combined St. Edmund Parish.
If you are new to our community, this is a great way to plug in, meet people of all ages, and contribute to our charitable works. We also have plenty of opportunities for non-members and all kinds of families to join in our activities.
